Michael Rowley has over 25 years executive experience in the exploration, mineral testing, and mine environmental industries, including capital markets and operations. One of Stillwater Critical Mineral’s founding shareholders and Directors, Mr. Rowley is active in additional publicly-traded companies, including fellow Metallic Group member, Granite Creek Copper.
Dr. Danie Grobler
Vice President - Exploration
Dr. Danie Grobler has more than 25 years of industry experience as an exploration and mine geologist including most recently as Head of Geology and Exploration for Ivanplats Pty Ltd (an Ivanhoe Mines company) where since 2011 he led the delineation and advancement of Ivanhoe’s world-class Platreef PGE-Ni-Cu mine on the northern limb of the Bushveld complex. Including previous experience as Project Manager at Platinum Group Metals’ at their project on the Bushveld’s northern limb, Dr. Grobler brings decades of senior level experience focused on the discovery and mining of battery and platinum group metals in ultramafic magmatic systems and has published numerous papers on Ivanhoe’s Flatreef deposit.
Albie Brits
Senior Geologist
Mr. Albie Brits has more than 28 years focused on the advancement of projects from grassroots stage to advanced exploration and full-scale mining operations, starting at Gold Fields of South Africa and including, most recently, the role of Senior Geologist and Manager Project Geology for Ivanplats Pty Ltd (an Ivanhoe Mines company). Focused on exploration for platinum group and base metals on the northern limb of the Bushveld complex since 2001, Mr. Brits was part of the team that discovered Ivanhoe’s Flatreef deposit. He has extensive experience in the exploration of mafic-ultramafic magmatic systems and has presented and co-authored numerous papers on the Flatreef deposit.
Mike Ostenson, P.Geo
Project Geologist
Mr. Ostenson has extensive experience in exploration, mine development and mining in the Stillwater Complex, including the roles of VP Exploration/Qualified Person with Premium Exploration, Exploration Geologist for Beartooth Platinum, and Ore Grade Control Geologist with Stillwater Mining Company. Mr. Ostenson has a Bachelor of Science (Earth Sciences) from the Montana State University, and also worked as a Gold Mine Geologist with AngloGold.
Justin Modroo, P.Geo
Project Geophysicist
Mr. Modroo has 20 years of mineral exploration experience, including as a Geophysical Consultant with Premium Exploration and Beartooth Platinum in the Stillwater Complex as well as with other North American exploration projects. Mr. Modroo’s has extensive first-hand knowledge of the geology and geophysical characteristics of the Stillwater Complex as well as the historic project data. Mr. Modroo has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geophysical Engineering and a Masters of Science in Geophysics from the Colorado School of Mines.
Rebecca Moriarty
Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Rebecca Moriarty is a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 20 years of experience in the mining industry. Her background includes a unique combination of technical and business accounting expertise, having received a degree in geology from Queens University and a CPA designation. Ms. Moriarty is supported by the Malaspina Consultants team, a Vancouver-based financial consulting and advisory firm staffed with highly experienced accounting personnel. Prior to joining Malaspina, Ms. Moriarty worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where she was a manager working exclusively with resource companies.
Susan Henderson
Finance Manager & Corporate Secretary
With over 20 years of experience in finance management within the mineral resource sector, Ms. Henderson has been a crucial asset to companies from exploration to mine development. Specializing in financial analysis, reporting, and management support, she has played a pivotal role in optimizing financial strategies.
In addition to her financial responsibilities, Susan has taken on the corporate secretarial function, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate governance standards, and continuous disclosure obligations.
