Greg Johnson

Executive Chairman and Director

Mr. Gregory Johnson has 30 years of experience in the mining industry with a record of success in exploration, development and financing of large-scale base and precious metals projects from discovery stage through advanced economic assessment. In addition to his expertise in the exploration for platinum group elements, gold, silver, nickel and copper, Mr. Johnson has developed broad experience in the capital markets and has been involved in raising over $650-million in project financing for his companies, as well as building their shareholder bases and securing participation of major institutional investors.

He began his career with Placer Dome Inc. (now Barrick Gold Corp.) where he held various senior roles in domestic and international exploration. One of the founders of NovaGold Resources, Mr. Johnson was a co-recipient of the PDAC’s Thayer Lindsay International Discovery Award for his role in the discovery and advancement of the 40-million-ounce Donlin Creek gold deposit in Alaska. As President and CEO of South American Silver and Wellgreen Platinum, Mr. Johnson led the significant expansion and advancement of several major precious and base metal deposits. He currently serves as Chairman and CEO of Metallic Minerals Corp., a leading silver explorer in the Yukon Territory.

Mr. Johnson has also been recognized for his work in sustainable development and community engagement and was awarded the Robert E. Leckie Award by the Yukon government for excellence in environmental stewardship. Mr. Johnson holds a BSc Honors in Geology from Western Washington University.


Michael Rowley

President & CEO, Director

Michael Rowley has over 25 years executive experience in the exploration, mineral testing, and mine environmental industries, including capital markets and operations. One of Stillwater Critical Mineral’s founding shareholders and Directors, Mr. Rowley is active in additional  publicly-traded companies, including fellow Metallic Group member, Granite Creek Copper.


Gregor Hamilton

Independent Director

Mr. Hamilton has 25 years of experience in the mining sector as a geologist, investment banker and entrepreneur. Mr. Hamilton began his career in mineral exploration in South America and later worked for 11 years in investment banking in London and Sydney, specializing in structured finance and M&A. Since 2010, Mr. Hamilton has been involved in the acquisition and development of mineral properties within both public and private resource companies. 

Mr. Hamilton has a BSc in Geology from the University of Edinburgh and an MSc in Mineral Project Appraisal from the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College, London. He also serves on the board of Metallic Minerals Corp.


Gordon Toll

Independent Director

Mr. Gordon Toll is a mining engineer with over 50 years of global mining industry experience as an entrepreneur and developer of large mining operations. His distinguished career in the mining industry has also involved acquisitions and new business development, startups, and public company leadership. Mr. Toll’s senior leadership positions with major companies include commercial and technical executive positions with BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto, Atlantic Richfield and Texasgulf. He was also a founder of Ferrous Resources in Brazil, which is now a subsidiary of Vale, Deputy Chairman of Ivanhoe Mines, and Chairman of Fortescue Metals Group.

Mr. Toll is recognized for his fund-raising abilities for mining projects around the world and has been directly involved with raising over US$5 billion during his recent career. Currently, he manages private investment companies which include Braemar Infrastructure Pty Ltd, which has received Major Development status from the South Australian Government and is proposing a multi‐purpose infrastructure corridor for the Braemar Region.

A mining engineering graduate from the University of Queensland, Mr. Toll also holds a Master’s degree in Business Science from Columbia University.


Nora Pincus

Independent Director

Ms. Pincus is a veteran resource industry professional with over 15 years of global experience, including senior legal, mine financing, and commercial roles. Throughout her career, Ms. Pincus has worked for both junior and major mining companies with projects and operations in North and South America, Africa, Australia and Asia. She has substantial experience in M&A and capital market transactions in the mining and metals sectors, having served as lead counsel on a number of notable global mining transactions. Ms. Pincus was formerly Managing Director with Nebari Partners, LLC, a private capital provider focused on the mining sector. Prior to joining Nebari, Ms. Pincus was General Counsel of Boart Longyear, a global drilling services, equipment and mining technology company, and was a partner at several boutique and international law firms. A Montana native, Ms. Pincus received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver.

Brian Cloney, CPA

Finance

Mr. Cloney has over 35 years experience of public accounting and financial consulting experience with a particular focus on the mining sector, holding the role of Chief Financial Officer with a number of publicly-traded resource companies. Mr. Cloney was a Director of Stillwater Critical Minerals (then Group Ten Metals) from March 2014 to June 2016.


Garth Kirkham, P.Geo, P.Geoph

Geology

Mr. Kirkham has over 34 years experience in the mineral exploration industry as a board member, leader, and geoscientist. He has numerous professional designations and awards for his work. Mr. Kirkham heads Kirkham Geosystems Ltd and was a founding director of Stillwater Critical Minerals (then Group Ten Metals).


Douglas Warkentin, P.Eng

Metallurgy and Mineral Processing

Mr. Warkentin is a Metallurgical and Process Development Consultant with over 30 years of experience in the mining and mineral processing industries. Currently Senior Metallurgist at Kemetco Research Inc. in Richmond, British Columbia, he has conducted mineral processing, hydrometallurgy, minewater treatment and resource recovery on a broad array of base, precious and high-tech metals projects for international clients. He was a co-founder of Stillwater Critical Minerals (previously Group Ten Metals) and served on the Company’s Board to July 2014.


Robert Sennott

Business Development Advisor

Resource investor, entrepreneur, philanthropist and film producer. Founder of Market Intelligence, a real estate information services company, that was acquired by Alleghany Corporation and recently acquired by Berkshire Hathaway. Served on the board of directors of First Community Bank, a USA bank based in Woodstock VT. Currently serves as a business development advisor to Stillwater Critical Minerals Corp., a TSX-V listed company.
